Overview: Spravato® is an FDA-approved nasal spray medication used in conjunction with an oral antidepressant to treat adults with treatment-resistant depression (TRD) and major depressive disorder (MDD) with suicidal thoughts or actions. Unlike traditional antidepressants, Spravato® works on a different brain pathway and may offer relief when other treatments have not been effective.
